Energy for healing the eternal heart and soul
Ka Shen Sekhem is a natural healing system which is similar to Reiki but operates on a higher vibration and heals on a deeper level. It is a form of Sekhem/Seichim, an ancient Egyptian healing energy. Ka Shen connects one with Spirit and the earth, develops the heart chakra and heals on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. The Ka Shen Sekhem energy embodies unconditional love and can come through in a variety of healing vibrations. Ka Shen Level 1 is available for free by distant healing attunement. In order to work with the full functionality of Ka Shen, it is recommended that you have already completed Reiki Level 2. However, if you have not done Reiki Level 2, or even if you have not learnt any Reiki at all before, you can still learn Ka Shen Sekhem and use it in a simple way for self healing. Introduction to Sekhem/Seichim
The Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt
The re-emergence of Sekhem/Seichim began with Patrick Zeigler in 1980. Whilst spending the night in the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt, Patrick experienced a spontaneous initiation. A swirling electric blue light appeared and descended into his heart, where it remained, moving in a figure-eight infinity pattern. This initiation empowered Patrick with a form of spiritual healing energy.

After Patrick's experience in the pyramid, he had a connection with this energy but he did not have a name for it. Some time later, a friend of Patrick's channelled some information for him about the energy he had been given. She received a name for the energy and spelt it out as "S-e-t-i-m". This name did not seem quite right to Patrick so he meditated and a voice came to him with the pronunciation of "Sei-Ch-im". Patrick then began calling the energy Seichim. A little further down the track, Patrick was given a book about the ancient Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. The book frequently mentioned the word Sekhem and Patrick realised that Sekhem was the ancient Egyptian word for Universal Energy and Power. It is translated as "Power of Powers". He realised that this was the word he had been given - the word he had been spelling as "Seichim". The symbol for Sekhem in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics is a sceptre. The sceptre represents the connection of Heaven and Earth. Patrick then began using the "Sekhem" spelling in conjunction with Seichim. Both the words Sekhem and Seichim were pronounced the same. The "kh" in Sekhem and the "ch" in Seichim represent a very hard guttural sound from the ancient Egyptian language. This sound is also found in current Hebrew and Arabic but it is not part of the English language. Sekhem is the spelling that is used in literature related to ancient Egypt and could therefore be considered to be the common or more original spelling of the word. As time went on, some slightly different pronunciations of the two words came into use, probably because people interpreted the spellings in different ways. Today, Seichim is often pronounced "Say-keem" or "Say-sheem" and Sekhem is often pronounced "Sayk-hem" or "Sek-hem". More recently, Patrick switched to the name SKHM, which is the way the Egyptians would have spelt the word Sekhem.
The Sekhem Sceptre
Sekhem/Seichim heals on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels, with a focus on the heart centre. It has been described as "living light energy". Several healing systems, using various forms of this energy, have been developed under such names as Seichim, Seichem, Sekhem and SKHM. While other people used and developed Sekhem/Seichim healing systems based on the Usui Reiki model, Patrick took a different approach and developed alternative ways of working with the energy. His approach evolved into a very advanced and powerful form of Sekhem which he calls ALL LOVE. Patrick now passes this energy on to others in his ALL LOVE workshops which involve the participants connecting with the energy via active meditations and "spontaneous initiations".

The energy has its own consciousness and when you look at the Shenu, the SKHM energy is also looking back out at you. The Ka Shen Sekhem System Ka Shen Sekhem is based on Phoenix Summerfield's system of Seichim and most of the symbols used in Ka Shen are from her system. The core part of Ka Shen has 7 levels and a further 5 levels will also be available. Level 1 is functionally equivalent to Reiki II. Each level is complete in itself and you need only do as many levels as feels appropriate for you. Each level changes, raises and develops the vibration of the energy and brings in more symbols. Level 1 gives you a basic system and establishes a basic form of the Ka Shen Sekhem energy vibration. Levels 2 - 7 introduce a powerful range of deeper and more exotic vibrations, based mainly on the Seichim symbols used by T'om Seaman and Phoenix Summerfield. Ka Shen Sekhem is also connected with ALL LOVE and attunement to Ka Shen helps connect you with the ALL LOVE energy. The Ka Shen Sekhem energy vibration has been designed and developed to integrate with the ALL LOVE energy and to work together with it during treatments. Each level of Ka Shen will continue to help strengthen and deepen your connection with the ALL LOVE energy.
As well as being a healing modality, Ka Shen Sekhem is a spiritual development program for personal transformation. Each level brings about a shift in a person's consciousness and vibration. As they use the energy and work their way up through the levels over time, a person will go through a healing process of ongoing psychological, energetic and spiritual transformation towards greater wholeness. This process develops the heart chakra and increases psychic perception.
An important aspect of Ka Shen is working with a balance of Father Spirit and Mother Earth, and a balance of Masculine and Feminine energies. The attunement process establishes a balanced connection with Spirit and the Earth. The Ka Shen Sekhem energy itself works with a balance of Spirit energy and Earth energy (which could also be described as Universal energy and Earth energy), and a balance of Masculine and Feminine energy.
Although the system is called Ka Shen, this is an abbreviation of its Egyptian hieroglyphic name which is spoken as "Udjat Ieb Ka Shen" and means "Energy for healing the eternal heart and soul". Sekhmet, the lion-headed Egyptian goddess of destruction, regeneration and healing, is associated with Ka Shen Sekhem and can be called upon to assist in treatments.
Isis
Isis is also associated with Ka Shen Sekhem and can be called upon to assist in treatments. Isis is an Egyptian moon goddess, embodying femininity, motherhood, magic, healing and power.
Quan Yin
Quan Yin, the eastern goddess of mercy, compassion and healing, is also associated with Ka Shen Sekhem and can be called upon to assist in treatments.
Gaia
A fourth guide associated with Ka Shen Sekhem is Gaia - the living, sentient consciousness and soul of the planet earth itself. Gaia can also be called upon to assist in treatments.

Treatments Treatments using a combination of Ka Shen Sekhem and ALL LOVE are available to anywhere in the world for AUD $45 each. These treatments are done by distance healing and go for approximately 1 hour. They will be placed in the Cosmic Healing Bank for you to receive at your convenience.
Training
Attunement to Ka Shen Sekhem is available by distant healing to anywhere in the world,
including free attunement for Level 1. As
mentioned above, the core system has 7 levels and
Level 1 is functionally equivalent to Reiki II. Additional
levels 8 - 12 will also be available in the near future.
Level 1 is available for free by
distant healing attunement.
Levels 2 - 7 are available by distant healing attunement for AUD
$60 per level. If you want to do one of the levels beyond Level 1 but you can't afford it, just send me an email. I don't want money issues to prevent anyone from having access to this system so I do make exceptions.
Each level takes a minimum of 1 month (from the time you have received all the attunements for that level) to integrate before you can begin the next level. You can wait longer than 1 month between levels if you feel you need to. It is best not to move on to the next level until you really feel you are ready.
The Ka Shen Sekhem Level 1 and Level 2 manuals are available for viewing and downloading. The manuals are in PDF format so you will need Adobe/Acrobat Reader to read them. The Development of Ka Shen Sekhem I learnt "Newlife Seichim" in 1992 but 2 years later found this energy no longer seemed to agree with me. My vibration was changing and I found that the form of Seichim I had been given now felt too harsh for me to comfortably work with. I stopped using it but still liked the symbols from that system. Soon after I became a Reiki Master in 1997, I began looking for ways that I could comfortably use those Seichim symbols. I found I was able to get them to work with energies other than the original Seichim I had been given, and spent a few years experimenting with different symbols and energy combinations. From what I have since experienced and read about Seichim/Sekhem/SKHM, I came to the conclusion that this energy is something that wants to express itself in different forms for different people, and that this is why so many different strands of it have come into being. In 2005, I did an ALL LOVE / SKHM workshop with Patrick Zeigler and was surprised to find that the energy I connected with there felt very different from what I had previously experienced as Seichim. It felt to me completely new and of a much finer vibration. Fortunately this energy did feel comfortable flowing through me and it felt very good.
Around that time I was also reading Diane Shewmaker's book "ALL LOVE - A Guidebook for Healing with Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki and SKHM". In it she describes how (as a result of attending a Seichim workshop with Patrick) she spontaneously began channelling a form of energy which was related to, yet distinct from, Reiki and Seichim. This energy called itself "Sekhem". I knew that "Seichim" and "Sekhem" were basically just different spellings and pronunciations of the same word but after reading this story I was fascinated by the word Sekhem. I liked just looking at it, either on the cover of Diane's book or in the text within the book. I noticed that the word Sekhem now felt quite different to me from the word Seichim. The vibration of the word itself spoke to me and I felt that "Sekhem is the one for me. I want to access, channel and work with Sekhem." I intuitively felt that this might somehow be the answer to my dilemma of wanting to work with the Seichim symbols but not being able to comfortably work with the form of Seichim energy I received along with those symbols. Now I had the experience of the ALL LOVE / SKHM energy I connected with in Patrick Zeigler's workshop plus the inspiration I got from reading Diane Shewmaker's story of spontaneously channelling the "Sekhem" energy. Putting these two things together, I was inspired to ask the Universe to manifest for me a form of the Seichim/Sekhem/SKHM energy that will suit me, that will be of name and type "Sekhem" and that I can use to build my own system containing the Seichim symbols that I liked. And It did...
This happened not in one great flash but in many small and evolving steps over time. I was intuitively guided to experiment with many different symbol combinations and attunement formulas, with the intention of accessing and channelling a form of Sekhem. This went very successfully. To help things along, I received a Seichim Master attunement from a friend and also later had an ALL LOVE / SKHM "spontaneous initiation" which was directly related to this project. I began working on my Sekhem system around the beginning of 2006 and spent about 2 years developing the attunement method and the basic feel and form of the energy. Elements of Patrick Zeigler's ALL LOVE / SKHM, Phoenix Summerfield's Seichim and Diane Shewmaker's Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki contributed to the development of the system. I was intuitively led to call my new system "Ka Shen", which is an abbreviation of its Egyptian hieroglyphic name meaning "Energy for healing the eternal heart and soul", and spoken as "Udjat Ieb Ka Shen". In 2010 and 2011 I did additional ALL LOVE / SKHM workshops with Patrick Zeigler. I integrated the ALL LOVE energy that I got from these workshops into my system and this continued to evolve the Ka Shen Sekhem energy vibration. I felt inspired to work on getting the ALL LOVE energy to work together with the Ka Shen Sekhem energy in treatments, and also to work on getting the Ka Shen attunements to help connect people with the ALL LOVE energy. In late 2011 I did a four day ALL LOVE / SKHM teacher's workshop with Patrick Zeigler which led to evolving the Ka Shen energy and system further again. Taking the teacher's workshop enabled me to more effectively get ALL LOVE to work together with Ka Shen and to get the Ka Shen attunements to more effectively help connect people with the ALL LOVE energy.
